Meet the Eligibility Criteria: The candidate should have completed a Diploma in Engineering/Technology with a minimum of 60% marks or B.Sc. With a minimum of 60% marks in PCM Physics Chemistry and Mathematics). Application: You can apply for admission to the lateral entry B.Tech programme at UPES by visiting the official website of the university and filling out the online application form. The application form will require you to provide personal and academic details, upload the required documents, and pay the application fee. Selection Process: The selection process for lateral entry admission to the B.Tech programme at UPES may vary depending on the chosen specialisation. The selection process may include an entrance exam, a Personal Interview and/or a merit-based selection process.

Greetings, the Candidates have the following conditions to get admission in lateral entry:
Passed Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology. Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognised University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject. Provided that the students belonging to B.Sc. Stream shall clear the subjects Engineering Graphics/ Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the First-Year Engineering Programme along with the Second-Year subjects. Provided that the students belonging to the B.Sc. Stream shall be considered with students belonging to the Diploma stream. Best wishes for your career. Thank you.
