Lateral entry

Lateral entry students get the advantage over the other students because of the more exposure to the industry as compared to them, so it also yield good placements.

The fees for private colleges are usually very costly. Radiology courses usually charge between INR 20,000 and INR 2 Lacs per year.

You need a very high rank (22737) in DECT. Most of the seats are reserved for the state domicile students so getting admission from foreign state is going to be very difficult. And the lateral entry and the normal entry is same.

It is 100% right.There is no difference between latereal entry b.tech and vertical entry b.tech.If you take admission through vertical entry after higher secondary you have to persue four year B.tech course and if you take admission through lateral entry you have to persue three year B.tech course.
Moreover,lateral entry is not available in NITs or IITs after diploma, if u want to join NITs or IITs then you have to appear for jee main which is vertical entry mode.
And NERIST, SLIET are the good university for lateral entry to persue B.tech.
So,choose wisely.

Coimbatore. You can join god lateral entry but you need to pay extra fee for it but it's a best college you can join.
