No, Brainware University does not offer admission to the MBA course via lateral entry. It is offered strictly as a two-year, full-time postgraduate degree programme divided into four semesters. Lateral entry is permitted into BTech programs only.

There are no reservation categories applicable for seats under Sri University BTech lateral entry system. Every open seat is filled strictly based on the merit scores achieved in the university entrance test. Diploma and BSc applicants compete equally for the vacant second-year batches.

The fees is also lesser. For example, BTech CSE fees is INR 579600 whereas BTech CSE- Lateral Entry fees is INR 256200.

Brainware University is a 3-year B.Tech programme. In other words, Brainware University allows a student who fulfills eligibility criteria for getting admission in the university to directly enroll in the second year (semester three) of B.Tech. Eligibility criteria usually demand that the applicant gets at least 45% marks in relevant Diploma or BSc or BCA. 5% relaxation in marks is provided for all reserved category students.
