Yes, DSU provides lateral entry but only for Allied Health Sciences courses such as Cardiac Care, Radiology etc. The duration of this course is three years. Students must have two-year Diploma with physics, chemistry, biology as major subjects.

Yes, KIIT provides lateral entry to BTech students, however student must be eligible for lateral entry. The duration of this course is three years. The basic eligibility criteria say that student must have three year Diploma in engineering with aggregate 60% marks. Students need to give entrance exam for admission.

Yes KCT, Coimbatore provides lateral entry to BTech students. The duration for this course is three years. Students who have Diploma or Science graduates can directly apply to second year of BTech. However, the admission process for lateral entries are same as regular admission process.

PP Savani University offers BTech in Mechanical, Civil, CE, IT, IT & Engg., Chemical, ML & AI, CSE in lateral entry mode. Selection for these courses will be based on last qualifying exam scores. Candidates must clear a Diploma in Engineering of chosen specialisation to be eligible.

Yes, BMS College of Engineering allows Lateral Entry in second year of B.E. Candidates need minimum 45% in any Diploma or equivalent exam to be eligible for admission through Lateral Entry. Minimum aggregate required for ST/SC/OBC candidates of Karnataka in Diploma is 40%.

Manipal University Jaipur BTech cares for Diploma holders by offering dedicated Scholarships for Lateral Entry students. This programme provides twenty-five scholarships for each engineering branch based on Diploma performance. Students securing above 85% marks can get a substantial 50% tuition fee waiver easily. Those scoring between 65% and 85% receive 40% or 30% waivers respectively.

Manipal University Jaipur BTech lateral entry eligibility requires a candidate to hold a recognised diploma. This Diploma must be in a relevant branch of engineering or technology. Alternatively, students with a BSc degree containing Mathematics can also apply. They get direct admission into the second year of the engineering program.
