If you have finished a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering , you can try for B.Tech Mechanical Engineering (Lateral Entry) at Lovely Professional University. With lateral entry sort of thing, you get admitted straight into the 2nd year, (3rd semester) of the B.Tech course, so its about 3 more years to study rather than 4.
Admission process :
- First, complete your diploma from a recognized institution.
- Then, submit the application online via LPU's admission portal.
- After that, you may need to appear for LPUNEST (Lateral Entry Test), or if the admission criteria says so , qualify accordingly. LPU also runs scholarships
