No, you can't get lateral entry into the 2nd Year of MCA after doing BCA. MCA is a 3-year post graduation degree course and there's no option for lateral entry. You'll have to pursue it just like everyone else starting from the 1st year.

No, you can't get lateral entry into BCA. BCA is a 3 year under graduation degree course. If you want to pursue this course then you will have to pursue it by taking admission into the first year just like everyone else. Lateral entry is not possible in BCA course.

Nearly, every college have this facility. Whichever you want, just visit their website, you can contact them. And, if you are talking about engineering, all the private colleges of AKTU have this facility and government too. You just have to qualify their entrance exam named as UPSEE.

Shri G. S. Institute of Technology & Science, Indore (SGSITS) does not offers BE/B.Tech lateral entry programs. The under graduate BE admissions are purely based on JEE-Main ranks. However, institute offers Part time degree course (PTDC) BE programs in Civil, Electrical, Electronic and telecommunication, Mechanical and Industrial& Production engineering for working diploma/BSc professionals. The admission for B.Tech lateral programs are based on entrance tests conducted by the concerned state technical boards. In Kolkata (WB) the JELET is the entrance test for B.Tech lateral admission. Similarly in Delhi, The Delhi technological University offers B.Tech lateral programs through common entrance test. So, in both the cases you have to appear in concerned entrance tests for B.Tech lateral admission.

Lateral Entry examinations like LEET/ECET/JELET examinations, which is conducted by your respective state entrance examinations board. By qualifying the entrance examination, based upon your examination rank, you will be allotted a seat in a particular college and you can get direct admission in second year of four years BE/B.Tech course.

Yes, you can get admission for B.Tech courses through lateral entry mode. Delhi Institute of Technological offers B.Tech lateral programs. The eligibility criteria for B.Tech lateral programs is three years Diploma in any branch of engineering from a AICTE recognized institution or state board of technical education with 60% marks. The admission are based on common entrance exams merit list.
