You can change to Colleges which come under the affiliation of your university. However, if you wish to change your university as well, then you will have to start from the 1st year. But, so is not the case when you change college within the same University, then you can continue from where

Hello Masarat,
The seats for lateral admission can be taken as 10% of the normal intake of first year. However this is only a rough figure. The university will normally announce seats availability at the start of admission process. What I can advise you is that try to score as much marks in diploma t

Yes, you can. After fulfilling the eligibilty requirements of the university with a minimum of 50 percentage in your Diploma - student can take a lateral entry into aerospace engineering.

Yes, Mumbai University indeed allows admission for Diploma holders directly into 2nd year of engineering. This is called as lateral mode of admission. The whole process is controlled by Directorate of technical education of the state of Maharashtra and the process is centralized and very transparent

The college offers lateral entry in only B.Tech in Chemical Engineering. I would recommend you to contact the college officials or visit the college website for details.

Eligibility:
Candidates must have passed SSC or HSC and a diploma in engineering or technology or B.Sc or its equivalent from a recognized institution with 45% marks (40% in case of candidates of backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only).
