Lateral entry

TCS does not allow anyone who have percentage below 60% in class 12th. It is clearly mentioned in TCS recruitment policy, but what if I tell you there is a way out (for people in the range of 57%-60%).
You give the recruitment test filling your details as 60%. You get through the selection procedure. You get the offer letter. (Before this stage no document verification is done).
You solve aspire modules. You get joining letter and you ILP location. If you have your ILP location other than Trivandrum, there is a possibility you can get through. I have seen people in the percentage range 57%-60% getting through TCS recruitment procedure and are currently in TCS's payroll. It all depends on your luck and the person verifying your document. So, I would say if you don't have any other opportunity, give it a shot, you never know what Life has kept for you.

LEET is the entrance exam for candidates who wish to get lateral entry admission in an engineering college. Now, I can't say if you can give LEET exam or not, because you have not mentioned any information about your course. Lateral Entry Scheme is basically for the candidates who have completed either Diploma in Engineering or B.Sc. through this scheme. Diploma and B.Sc candidates can get direct admission in the 2nd year of engineering. What kind of stream you can apply for in engineering depends on the subject in which you have completed B.Sc or Diploma. This scheme was started to give Diploma and B.Sc students a better career option. Since they won't be eligible to appear for entrance exams like IIT-JEE or AIEEE, lateral entry scheme is the best option for them. There are two ways to get a lateral entry admission. Several colleges would give you direct admission based on your performance in Diploma or B.Sc course. Every engineering university in India reserves some seats for the lateral entry admission. They will either offer direct admission or via LEET entrance exam.
