Yes, why not. But, it depends upon college to college. Some prefer lateral entry. If you scored well in JEE Mains and Advanced. While, if a student is not qualified for JEE Main, then on the basis of class 12th percentage/entrance exam or interview, college may give admission to lateral entry. Also, if a student completes it's Diploma, then his/her chances of getting lateral admission increases. It all depends upon college, because all colleges have certain criteria for lateral admission.

Hi there, Thanks for a2a.
It's quite difficult to get the cutoff list of DTU lateral entry because the administration of DTU doesn't post the cutoff list on DTU LEET website.

If you are in the final year of mechanical engineering Diploma program then you are eligible for lateral entry exam in DTU.

Yes, you can join lateral entry program but you need to clear the LEET exam of DTU to get admission through lateral entry for B.Tech program.
