For B.Tech in Marine Engineering through lateral entry, there isn't a common, mandatory entrance exam like IMU CET for direct entry. Instead, admissions are often based on merit, typically determined by the aggregate marks in the qualifying Diploma or degree, and may include additional assessments like interviews or group discussions.

No, lateral entry is not available for integrated law courses like BBA LLB Hons at Dr. M.G.R Educational and Research Institute or most other law colleges. These courses are designed as five-year integrated programs starting after Class 12, with no provision for mid-course entry. You would need to apply as a fresh candidate through the regular admission process, which may involve an entrance test or merit-based selection. The institute offers a strong curriculum, moot court training, and internship opportunities for students aspiring to build careers in law and business.

Yes NFSU Gandhinagar offers lateral entry for fiploma students in to the B.Tech courses. Students can apply in the second year.

The Diploma should be a 3 year Diploma and the candidate should have passed the course with atleast 45 percentage of mark.

While RNS Evening College offers a BCom programme and mentions 10th and Diploma certificate for lateral entry admissions under their documents needed section. There is no explicit confirmation that they offer lateral entry specifically for Diploma students into their BCom course.

The syllabus is largely similar for both, based on Class 11 and 12 curriculum. However, for B.Tech (Lateral Entry), diploma-level questions may also be included. This ensures the test evaluates prior technical knowledge and readiness for direct second-year entry.

Several excellent colleges in India offer B.Tech lateral entry programs in Civil Engineering. Some of the top options include Delhi Technological University (DTU), Amity University, and Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology. Other notable institutions include PSG College of Technology, Manipal Institute of Technology, and the College of Engineering, Pune. For a wider range of choices, consider exploring universities like Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), Pondicherry Engineering College (PEC), and various branches of VIT.

If you're looking for the top government colleges in West Bengal for BPT with lateral entry, your options are going to be very limited, as most government colleges in West Bengal directly admit BPT students after 12th, not lateral entry.

A good bet would be to try IPGME&R (SSKM Hospital), Medical College Kolkata, and NRS Medical College as all three are noted for allied health courses, and sometimes their Diploma accept BPT students to join them in year 2 if a free seat becomes available.

It would be best to call the physiotherapy departments at these colleges directly. As an additional option for lateral entry, private colleges suc
