Normally speaking, in any online counseling, students are required to visit their selected colleges physically to pay the fees, etc. And confirm the accepted seat. Hello! Kashika Singh, unfortunately no agency is giving out this data. Of course, number of seats available depends on host of other factors like, vacant seats at admission in first year, number of students who failed in first year etc. But knowing that large number of seats in engineering colleges are not getting filled up, I visualize that all students seeking lateral admission will get it

Lateral entry are the students who have completed Diploma and joining engineering colleges as B.Tech 2nd year students by writing an entrance test or going through some kind of admission processes.

Yes you can join an engineering college after completing Diploma, by writing an entrance test conducted by the government.

Yes absolutely, after Diploma students can directly come to B.Tech 2nd year by writing an entrance test, most states conduct entrance test after Diploma, Telangana conducts ECET for Diploma students to join B.Tech colleges through lateral entry.

Hi, Engineering graduation is a four year degree course. This is after 12th. If a student does his Diploma after 10th which is of three years duration, admission can be sought directly into second year of 4 years degree course. So the student will have to study further for three years to obtain degree in engineering. Best wishes.
