Arka Jain University provides lateral entry directly to the second year of the BPharma programme. The duration of the BPharma (lateral entry) programme is three years. To be eligible for lateral entry admission to the programme, candidates must have passed the DPharma programme from a PCI-approved institution/university. Additionally, they must have a valid scorecard for one of the accepted entrance exams, i.e. NEET/JEE Mains/AJUCET.

Sarala Birla University provides lateral entry to the BTech courses that it offers. The eligibility criteria to take BPharm lateral admission is candidate must pass in DPharm course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.

Yes, BSc Students have the option of switching to BTech after completing BSc. They will get admission in the second year of a B Tech degree. Only Diploma holders were allowed BTech Admission through Lateral Entry, but from 2013-14 BSc students also have this provision. According to AICTE, students from BSc Computer Science and BSc IT have the opportunity for direct admission in BTech 2nd Year through Lateral Entry.
