Yes, NIFT Chennai does offer lateral entry for BFTech programme. The institute provides the course in Apparel Production and it costs about INR 9 Lacs for lateral admission. Students must appear and clear the NIFT Lateral Entry Admission test (NLEA) to be eligible for admission. Admission to SASTRA University's B.Tech Lateral Entry program is granted on the basis of merit earned in an accredited diploma program. Since SASTRA admissions are mostly merit-based, the cutoff trends for lateral entry programs are not available . However, depending on the volume of applicants and diploma achievement levels, the rivalry may differ throughout areas such as computer science, electronics and communication engineering, and others.
