As per Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, CAP Test eligibility criteria for MA in Communication is given here.
- 1 Year PG Diploma for students who have completed their 4 year BA Hons in any stream with minimum 50 percent marks.
- 2 Year PG Diploma for students who have completed their 3 year BA Hons in any stream with minimum 50 percent marks.

The basic eligibility criteria for the MA programme available at HNBGU Pauri Campus is a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 40-45 % aggregate. The accepted entrance tests is CUET-PG. Students must prepare well for the accepted entrance examination for the successful admission to the available programmes.

To study MA from St Pauls College Bangalore students must meet the eligibility of having a UG degree with a 50% minimum aggregate score. While for MSc the requirements remain the same with an added requirement of having Psychology as their main subject in UG. While selections will depend on merit or qualifying exam scores and Personal Interview rounds.

The eligibility for the MA in International Relations course is to obtain a bachelor's degree in either BA International Relations or any other relevant field. Other conditions like marks, age limit, entrance exam scores, etc., can be different based on the colleges.
Apart from this, the documents you'll require include,
- A relevant bachelor's degree
- Passport-sized photographs (at least two)
- Photo ID proof (Adhaar, PAN, Passport, etc.)

For admission to IGNOU college for MA (Master of Arts) courses, students must at least secure 50% marks in graduation in any discipline from a recognised university in India. The exact MA course eligibility is to have a bachelor's degree in any relevant discipline. Though these disciplines also depend on the MA subject you choose. A candidate is eligible to appear for the DCJ entrance exam if:
- He/she has passed the Bachelors Degree in any specialisation form MU or any other recognised university by the University of Mumbai.
- He/she has submitted the DCJ exam application form of the Department of Communication and Journalism, along with the statement of purpose and two testimonials as prescribed by the university.
