Got very good faculty members and labs. You will have a great time here.
Placements: They assure good placement in different hospitals, and they run a hospital too where you get to practice. They had a good patient flow where you get to know about the new cases. It was a huge hospital with labs, and you had an internship salary of about Rs 25,000.
Infrastructure: Our college provided good hostel infrastructure. Good food given was worthy. The building may be old but the rooms were good. You had a spacious bathroom and dining hall with good amount of food. The environment around was very good, and you would have study rooms in hostels.
Faculty: Faculty members were very good. The curriculum included all types of activities. You had three internals in a year. You will be having lab exams. You will have all the fests and celebrations in one year. You will have a wonderful year ahead and you will have a good job.

Life in Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences.
Placements: More than 90 percent of students are placed each year, with the highest package reaching 12 LPA and the average package being 9 LPA. Since this is a medical college, I can't specify the companies that recruit doctors. Every student completes an internship at the Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences Hospital as it is affiliated with the college.
Infrastructure: KIMS is an established institution, so the infrastructure is somewhat dated, given that the college was built in the 1980s. However, many facilities, such as the laboratories, instruments, and library books, are up to date. The hostel is also old, but a new hostel block is being constructed, which will feature modern amenities like air-conditioned rooms, Wi-Fi, and a TV in the mess.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are qualified, helpful, and available to assist students whenever needed. The teaching quality is rated around 8/10. Due to the large class sizes, it can sometimes be challenging to grasp certain topics, but teachers are always willing to clarify any doubts. The curriculum is relevant and prepares students for real-world challenges. Semester exams range from moderate to difficult, with a pass percentage of over 80% in my class at least.

Good college, infra is developing, hospital campus is good, & nice exposure.
Placements: Good placement opportunity due to reputation of college, patient outflow is good, student postings are interesting Multiple high ranking students in NEET PG regular events get discounts for students from online coaching platform Gen M.Ed dermat and radio most preferred.
Infrastructure: The hostel is mid, can be better, everything about it is mid. No Wi-Fi, 2 study rooms, sports and games and gym on the college campus, 300 per month for the gym, extreme money infestation, manageable rooms, no AC yet. Food is edible, not very good, not very bad. Acclimatization may be an issue. Multiple restaurants nearby if bored.
Faculty: Well-designed but fast-paced. Internal exams every 4 months, regular tests, viva, and stuff. Regular practical assessment, skill lab facility. Extremely well-maintained labs. Very fast-paced due to time shortage but understandable. Friendly staff members.
Other: Medical is good, even as a lifestyle or for earning. Patient interaction is the best part, helps get a reality check into life. Cultural fest every year, freshers party, ethnic day, Kannada Habba, and sports day organized every year.

Our college provides good education.
Placements: It is one of the top MBBS colleges in Karnataka. Students coming from north India prefer this college. During internships, students get a stipend of Rs10,000 starting from 2023 which might increase in subsequent years.
Infrastructure: Education provided in this college is top-notch but the infrastructure is not good. The hostel provides shared rooms for students and doesn't provide Wi-Fi. Library closes after 9 PM. Mess food is average. Sports and games are below average.
Faculty: Some of the teachers in our college are very good. Their teaching is very strict and always follows a pattern and expect their students to do the same. Semester exams are held regularly. The average of 2 internals out of 3 should be above 50% to attend university exams.

Review about kempegowda institute.
Placements: There nothing like placements in medical college. You will get internship in the college hospital for an year which will give you quite a good exposure. However internships in private colleges do not provide any stipend. So you will not be paid anything for your service there.
Infrastructure: Overall the college is good in infrastructure too. Wi-Fi is available in library. We have gym library study room. Canteen is not good enough. You can have access to the college for studying till 12 midnight. The staff is cooperative. Hostel is fine with decent food.
Faculty: In this aspect, KIMS is reputed. The faculty is really good. They put in efforts. The exams are held timely to give students chance to prepare again and again for their university exams. The exams are moderate with not very easy questions. So you will easily be able to give university exams.
Other: Many events occur in college like ethnic day, college day, sports day.

I am satisfied with teachers but disappointed with infrastructure and management.
Placements: The thing about this course is we have job assurance even if we just clear the exams. Most of the students are not bothered about placements as soon as their bachelor's courses are done. We get placed in government setup, and we are offered decent salaries. For students who dream of becoming more, they can pursue higher education.
Infrastructure: We have a very good library and decent laboratories. The hostel is average, and classrooms and washrooms are also very poor. We don't have a playground, and there are no facilities to improve in extracurricular activities. We don't have a lounge room for resting which is very annoying.
Faculty: Teachers are very good. Some are exceptional, and others are not the best. The curriculum offered is as per RGUHS, which is a standard for medical education. The medical course is not easy, and the pass percentage is very less year after year because of the toughness of the exams and strict evaluation.
Other: MBBS was always my dream, and I felt I could not have chosen any other course. The best thing about this course is you can learn a lot of things practically, and there is a human interaction, which is always special. Events and fests are not organised in our college, which makes me feel disappointed, and there are no extracurricular activities as well.

It is a good college for study purpose, but it is not worth the fee paid.
Placements: The college offers good jobs. Most of the students clear NEET PG easily to get admission in good government colleges. College doesn't provide any salary to the interns. Outpatient department hospital is high, but the value of work is least. After graduating from this college, one can call oneself a true doctor in the sense of knowledge, study and work.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not that good. It has an old building with good classrooms and laboratories. It provides new and high quality of equipment for students. Food served in the mess is hygienic, but it is tasteless. The hostel provides facilities like washing machine, common washrooms and mess.
Faculty: New curriculum provided by MCI is bad, and it caused a lot of pressure on us for passing exams. The pattern is very difficult. Teachers in our college are highly qualified, but they are too strict. Most of the students are afraid of teachers. The new curriculum is too hectic for everyone.
Other: I have chosen this course because I wanted to become a doctor. It is the best course according to me, and it helps to serve human beings. The college should reduce the time duration of the course, and the number of subjects should also be reduced. Medical fests organised by the college are interesting. The main problem is the least breaks, even during college events.

Overall a good college with more than satisfactory placements.
Placements: The placements are good. Based on your NEET ranking, the college fees of the students is determined. 150 candidates are there in one batch.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is really good with a nice campus. There is a big library and many classrooms. All the facilities are available on the campus. Hostel facilities are decent. In every classroom, there is proper air conditioning and projectors.
Faculty: Faculty consists of very well experienced teachers and staff. Teachers are really helpful and the quality of teaching is good. Teaching is done through PPT and chalkboard methods.
Other: Events are divided into sets, cultural events and sports events which happen every year.
