M.Tech Placement

The scope of M.Tech courses in India is vast and varied. Placements with good profiles/packages can be achieved by doing M.Tech . The highest package of an M.Tech graduate is 28 LPA, the average was 6.70 LPA, the median was 5.5 LPA and the lowest was 3.5 LPA. The M.Tech placements at Government College of Engineering, Aurangabad, have been steadily improving over the years.

NIT Durgapur has not released its MTech placement report for 2025 yet. Once out it will be updated here. As per the NIT Durgapur placement statistics 2023, the total number of jobs offered to the MTech and MSW batch passing out in 2023 was 147. University of Hyderabad MTech average package is not released. However, according to Hyderabad University's SCIS placement report 2025, the highest and lowest package secured by MTech students was INR 46 LPA and INR 5.4 LPA.

The placements for M.Tech graduates at MIT school of engineering PUNE are good and  decent. As of 2023, the highest package offered to M.Tech students is 24 LPA. And average package stood at 7 LPA. some of the major recruiting companies are IBM, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Intel, Goldman Sachs, HCL, TCS, Infosys etc.

NIT Durgapur M.Tech CSE placements data has not been released on the official website of the institute. However, during the National Institute of Technology Durgapur M.Tech placements 2022, a total number of 48 students got the placement offer. A few more highlights related to NIT Durgapur M.Tech placement 2022 are given below:

The National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology's Placement Cell is a fully functional training and placement cell that regularly communicates and engages with the business community to investigate the possibilities of student training and job placement. For recent grads, the typical salary ranges from INR 3LPA - 4.5LPA. Intel, HCL, Ashok Leyland, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Bosch, L&T, Caterpillar, CIPLA Pharmaceuticals, IBM India, Mistral Solutions Pvt Ltd, VVDN, Bosch, Einfochips, and other leading recruitment firms participated in the campus placement at NIELIT, Gorakhpur.

As per NIRF report 2026, 430 students were placed and 141 students were selected for higher studies out of 574 graduating students during JU MTech placements 2025.
