The following are the 2022 placement statistics for B.Tech and M.Tech programs:
B.Tech Placements: In 2022, INR 6 LPA was the highest package offered during B.Tech placements. In the same year, the average package for placements of B.Tech students was INR 3.00 LPA. M.Tech Placements: In 2022, INR 5.5 LPA was the highest package offered during M.Tech placements. In the same year, the average package for M.Tech was INR 3.60 LPA. The average package for M.Tech placements is slightly higher than that of B.Tech placements, however the top package is significantly lower than the latter. Yes, Dhirubhai Ambani University offers M.Tech (Electronics and Communication) course in the collaboration with CR Rao Institute and M.Tech (CSE) course in the collaboration with IIT Jammu.

In order to get admission to M.Tech course at DAIICT, students need to fulfill minimum eligibility criteria and qualify for the GATE exam with valid score.

At PG level, DAIICT Gandhinagar offers M.Tech course across four major and seven minor specialisations. These are ICT in (Machine Learning, Software Systems and VLSI and Embedded Systems), Electronics & Communication in (Wireless Communications and Signal Processing) and CSE in (Data Science & Information Security).

The total tuition fee for Executive M.Tech courses is INR 3.6 lakh. Additionally the hostel fee is INR 1.52 Lacs and a one-time payment of INR 3,620. Moreover as per the official brochure a registration fee of INR 10000 per semester has to be paid to keep enrolment active. Further this given fee is as per unofficial sources and is indicative.

As per the NIRF report 2024, a total of 31 MTech students graduated in 2023. Out of these, 20 were placed during 2023 placements. This makes the placement rate almost 65%. Earlier, out of 34 MTech graduates 12 were placed during 2022 placements. This makes the placement rate 35%. From 2021 to 2023, a fluctuating trend was recorded in the MTech placement rate. See the table below depicting the NIT Sikkim placement trends for MTech:
