KDK College of Engineering admission to the M.Tech programme is made if candidates meet the minimum eligibility requirement set by the college. For admission to the M.Tech programme at KDKCE, candidates must have passed graduation with a 50% aggregate (45% for Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates).

For M.Tech course admission, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the institute. Aspiarnts should pass graduation from any recognised state/national board with a 50% aggregate (backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra sate only-45% aggregate). The admission criteria for the course is based on MAH MCA CET.

Candidates are offered seat in M.Tech based on GATE or AKTU PG Entrance Exam scores. Candidates who do not have a GATE score can also get admission provided they pass a institute or university level exam.

One can take admission to M.Tech programme at NIT Mizoram through common counselling for M.Tech (CCMT) after qualifying GATE. If seats remain vacant after GATE qualified candidates, admission can be given to non-GATE candidates through Institute admission procedure.
