M.Tech

As per M. Tech regulations, a student is required to complete 12 credits (all the courses) from core bucket and 8 credits to get specialization in VLSI and Embedded Systems.
Candidate must have completed B.E./B.Tech./AMIE in ECE / EEE / CSE / Electronics & Computers Engg / ETE/ IT/CSIT/ Electronics & Control Engg./Instrumentation Engg./ Instrumentation Technology / EIE /ICE/ Electronics Engg.,/Bio- Medical Engg./ AMIETE and Electronics and Telematics Engg. / Electronics or equivalent from a UGC recognized University/ Institute. Preference will be given to GATE qualified candidates over TS PGECET qualified candidates. Candidate must have secured 50% marks in group subjects taken together in the qualifying examination (45% for reserved category).

M.Tech and MBA both have very good career options, it would be an injustice to compare both of them. Both of them have their own perks. You should choose one among them based on your interest and capability. M.Tech gives you more knowledge into technical sector and the ability to think new which can lead to innovation, this helps you very well if you're planning on growing your career towards tech sector. MBA helps you build a good career as well but into a different field I. e. Management jobs, and it helps you if you're planning on getting into Business world. M.Tech is highly reputed in the area of engineering and Technology, whereas MBA is popular in the area of Business Management. You are saying that you've less percentage in your BE, I don't know the reason behind that but if the reason is you are not interested in engineering, then it might be good for you if you don't choose M.Tech which deals with Technology again. Mandatory Courses: B.E. / B.TechB.Arch
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture or qualifications obtained through examinations conducted by professional societies recognized by UPSC/AICTE. Candidate must have secured the above-mentioned marks in all years of the qualifying degree OR b) awarding degree based on aggregate marks secured in the final two semesters or final year of the qualifying degree: GE/OBC/EWS: Minimum of 60% marks (OR a CGPA of 6.5 on a 10 point scale) SC/ST/PwD: CGPA of 6.0 on a 10 point scale). B.Tech students who graduated/graduating from IITs having a CGPA of 8.00 or above (out of 10) are eligible for direct admission without having to appear in either GATE or personal interview.
Other eligibility criteria
The candidate who has a Masters's degree in Science/Arts with the mentioned percentage is also eligible to apply.
