When you're getting admission in Thapar for such a great course, why go anywhere else? M.E. CAD/CAM Engineering in Thapar is pretty great, and comes with good faculty, good crowd, good curriculum and so on. Yes, you can join M.Tech in computer science, you need to attempt the entrance exam of CSE. My suggestion is to go for a regular college to pursue M.Tech, distance learning is not advisable and doesn't have much value.
