Please check the eligibility as below. Candidates wishing to pursue the course are required to fulfill the below-mentioned minimum eligibility criteria. Graduation (BE /B.Tech or equivalent qualification), completed from a recognized institute. A minimum aggregate score of 50% at the level of graduation. The Admission Process is as below. Admission to the course is based on the candidates performance in a relevant institutional/ State/ national-level entrance exam, such as GATE which is an all-India level examination held for admission to the country IITs. GATE scores are also accepted by most reputed engineering institutes of the country. Students qualifying the exam with the set minimum eligible cut-off score are invited for the subsequent round of counseling, based on which, the final selection is made. The counseling process consists of rounds of Group Discussion and Personal Interview, wherein the candidate's general aptitude for the course is examined, and a merit list is made, allotting seats to the qualifying candidates. Some institutes in India also provide admission to eligible candidates based on their obtained merit at the level of graduation. Some of the major entrance exams conducted in the country for admission to the course are listed below:
1. Andhra Pradesh PGECET (Andhra Pradesh Post-Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test)
2. TS PGECET (Telangana Post-Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test)
3. Karnataka PGCET (Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test)
4. VITMEE (VIT University Masters Entrance Examination)
5. GAT (GITAM Admission Test).

PGCET is the entrance exams conducted for PG courses. M.Tech admissions through PGCET is just like any other exams, you will have to take up the exam in the stream of your choice, say computer Science or electronics or electrical. The results will be announced in the form of ranks. And allotment of seats are done online according to list of colleges given by you. There will be two rounds of seat allotment if you get allotted to the college of your preference, then you can proceed with the admissions, else you can go for the second round of allotment.
