Hello Pooja,
MS Ramaiah College has separate department of placements. This department takes keen interest in seeing that majority of the students are placed. They even provide training to the students to appear for the interview and clear it so that they are placed. However the information regarding placements after M.Tech or after B.Tech or for different branches of engineering is not readily available. For your benefit, I am attaching a link that will give you information about placements done at MSRIT:

Yes. Of course, Canada has some great universities and colleges. There you will also get outside exposure, corporate exposure, it will enhance the command over language and after that you can even settle in Canada. There are a ton of Indians there. The environment there is friendly, you won't face much issues related to that. So, go ahead and all the best!

AICTE is just council for technical education as it name suggest All India Council for Technical Education
For Approval in distance education the power is with UGC DEB and it is mandatory for colleges to get AICTE approval.
Further, to your question as per UGC MHRD notification B.Tech and M.Tech can't be pursued through distance and such a degree stands to be invalid.

Placements are good. See, it depends on the company, if they want a person for the research work then they will only hire M.Tech students and if they don't then they will not hire those students.
