It's better but first qualify GATE so that it would be better you to join in any government sector. Nowadays many government sectors are making GATE as the qualification for them. M.Tech is not that useful. Go with government jobs preparation.

What perhaps you mean is the engineering course offered by your University. All engineering courses offered in India by any institute has to have AICTE approval. Not only PG in foreign shore, your very employment in India too is affected since it's an illegal degree.

As per the UGC guidelines, no college in India can offer engineering and medical courses through distance mode. Doing this is illegal. So, you ought to go for regular mode.

Since this is a PG level course, possessing an Undergraduate Degree is necessary to be able to pursue this course. One may pursue this course after completing UG programs like-B.E. /B.Tech. Marine Engineering, B.E. /B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering, B.E. /B.Tech. Electrical Engineering, Naval Architecture.

You will get seat through Counselling in B.Tech (CSE) - IDP course in JNTUH.
You may also get a seat in 4 year course, B.Tech (CSE) - Reg. Don't forget to give it a try.

These two fields are totally different from each other, so there is no point in comparing M.Tech and MBA. Both are specialized courses and have their own values. It only depends on your interest whether you would like to go for further studies or do you want to gain more knowledge while being on the job? Both B.Tech and MBA have excellent career opportunities in their respective fields. I would like to suggest you first know your interests and then go for the course. If you want to continue your career in technical field then you should go for M.Tech and if you want to hone managerial and leadership skills, then you should go for MBA.

You can go for MBA as it will increase your opportunities in diverse fields.
