Placements were always good. M.Tech placements are also good for M.Tech in CAD/CAM, manufacturing, industrial design and automotive in core companies

This is not same as always and changes according to the requirement every year. Sometimes you might get this in first category or sometimes it can be in third as well. But this time it seems you can get in second as the seats have not been fixed by VIT.

You can approach the university/college directly, and go with the proceedings. Some colleges in Germany accept the GATE score too, so that would help.

Hi Preetesh,
If you want to take admission in a government college then you have to crack GATE. If you want to take admission in a private college then you consult the colleges.
According to me, government college is better for you.

ME and M.Tech are post graduate degrees in Engineering such as M.Tech/MS in Civil, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical etc. Whereas, M.Sc is post graduate degrees in Science such as M.Sc Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Botonyt.
