The processing time for a Malaysian student visa, from initial application to receiving the Student Pass, can take 4 to 6 weeks. This includes the time of VAL processing. It is recommended to start the application process just after receiving the admission acceptance letter from the university.

For Indian students, the single entry and multiple entry visa fee for study visa Malaysia is MYR 50 (INR 940). Note that the transit visa fee also stands at MYR 50 (INR 940) for Indians.
