To get B.Tech in Marine Engineering at Praveenya Institute of Marine Engineering you need to have a 10+2 qualification with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as mandatory subjects

PRIME is the only approved institute in Andhra Pradesh for conducting B.E. Marine Engineering. PRIME is located between Visakhapatnam and crossroads of Vizianagaram and Srikakulam at Junction of NH-5 (New NH-16) and NH-43. It is about 32kms from Visakhapatnam and 18kms from Vizianagaram.It was established in 2005 and provide 7 engineering courses, approved by AICTE, New Delhi and BE Marine Engineering approved by DG Shipping, Government of India.

The eligibility criteria for the B.E. / B.Tech courses at Praveenya Institute of Marine Engineering, Vizianagaram, requires students to meet the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET exam requirements.
The qualifying criterion for the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET exam is 25%, which is equivalent to a minimum of 40 marks out of the total 160 marks. General category candidates must meet a cutoff of 45%, whereas reserved category candidates have a cutoff of 40%.

Yes. Praveenya Institute do offer some scholarship for UG studies. So basically there's an exam called Andhra Pradesh EAMCET those who qualify for that exam with good marks can get a scholarship up to INR 4 Lacs rupee. It's merely based on caste and academic performance. Other than that students can also apply for government and caste-based scholarships via college.
