Eligibility criteria for Diploma in Marine Engineering are XII with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with minimum of 55% marks in the majority of colleges. If you meet the above mentioned criteria you can then apply for course

Hello Bhavesh, Yes, after successfully completing Diploma, you can seek lateral admission to 2nd year of engineering. The dte of tech edu of concerned state normally co-ordinates and controls the whole process.

You can go for PGDME (Post Graduation Diploma in Marine Engineering) after completion of B. Tech, either in Mechanical or Electrical. It's a 1-year Diploma course, being offered in various institutes, affiliated with Indian Maritime University (IMU).
