In order to get admission in UG/PG programs, candidates should have 10+2 score PCM (at least 45%), and score of TG-EAPCET or JEE Main to get entrance in B.Tech. PG level candidates should enter PG with B.Tech and have score of TG-PGECET or GATE. Online application, screening of documents with subsequent counselling is done.

Government College of Engineering, Thanjavur offers the UG course such as B.E./B.Tech admissions which is based on Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) using Class 12th marks in PCM subjects. In the case of PG course such as M.E./M.Tech candidates have to either pass TANCET or GATE. One needs a minimum of 50 per cent marks in the qualifying examinations to be eligible. Here is the detailed process to get into Poornaprajna Institute of Management for UG/PG courses:
1)For MBA
you should have Bachelor's degree (minimum 50%) with a valid entrance exam score such as CAT/MAT/CMAT/KMAT/PGCET.
Then apply for Counselling Process.
2) For MCA;
You should have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline . It does not require any entrance exam score.
