Most of the well-known institutions, like Banaras Hindu University or the Central University of Haryana, have expected cutoffs much higher, often in the range of one hundred seventy to above two hundred twenty marks for the general category.

Universities in Himachal Pradesh do not offer Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) through distance learning due to the course's clinical and practical nature. MPT programs, such as those at Career Point University or IEC University, are full-time, regular, on-campus courses only. No recognised distance MPT course is available in the state.
