And as far as my knowledge for the Hindustan College of Arts and Science (HCAS) Chennai the B.Sc. Mathematics programme at HCAS Chennai is a three-year undergraduate degree as the academic year in most Indian universities including those affiliated with the University of Madras is typically divided into 2 semesters per year a 3 year B.Sc. Mathematics programme at HCAS Chennai would have a total of six semesters only you have to study for six semesters at the college.

To be eligible for an MA in Folklore Studies at Gauhati University, you need a Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.Sc./B.Com.) with a major or general course in any language/literature discipline or social sciences, and a minimum of 50% marks in your degree course.
