Hi, there are several central universities like DU, BHU, PU, Rajasthan, Ranchi, Hyderabad, and other state universities, CMI, IMSC, IISER. Some private universities also provide Masters's programme in pure Math, Stats, Applied Math. North region Chandigarh University can also be a good option. It has good Nirf and QS ranking among private universities in India.

Different universities conduct their own entrance examination for admission to M.Sc. Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) is a national-level examination that is held once a year. For 2023, cut off was 7855 for General category candidates in All India quota for BTech in Mathematics and Computing at IIT Jammu - Indian Institute of Technology. BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.
