No, Maths is not compulsory to get admission to BCA at Jain University. However, it's a UG-level course in the stream of IT and Computer Applications, so candidates who have studied Class 12 with Maths as one of their main subjects may apply but it's not mandatory to only study Mathematics. Candidates must have passed Class 12 in the stream of Science. The subjects may vary such as Statistics/ Computer Science/ Information practice. Aspirants can study the mentioned exam in their Class 12 apart from Mathematics.

Hi, there are several central universities like DU, BHU, PU, Rajasthan, Ranchi, Hyderabad, and other state universities, CMI, IMSC, IISER. Some private universities also provide Masters's programme in pure Math, Stats, Applied Math. North region Chandigarh University can also be a good option. It has good Nirf and QS ranking among private universities in India.

There are good number of universities in north India. Chandigarh University in North India has excellent placement record. They offer MSc programme in pure and applied Math. Student can pursue their degree while being placed during semester.

Different universities conduct their own entrance examination for admission to M.Sc. Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) is a national-level examination that is held once a year.  For admission to the MSc Mathematics programme at Chandigarh University, you need to meet the minimum eligibility criteria of having a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate, with Mathematics as a compulsory subject. For 2023, cut off was 7855 for General category candidates in All India quota for BTech in Mathematics and Computing at IIT Jammu - Indian Institute of Technology. BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.
