Hi Sneha,
If you're looking for only cbse 11th and 12th
For Physics go for SL Arora.
For chem. NCERT
for maths Ncert and R.D Sharma(if you want)
And if you're looking for JEEi agree with Kshitij Deshpande The all three books for physics are awsome.
I prefer Resnick halliday walker. H.C Verma is also very nice.
JD Lee for inorganic is very awesome
Organic O.P tondon or Paula Bruice Yurakins or Morrison & Boyd.
For physical also O.P tondon and Atkins.

"No, mathematics is not necessary for programming, however computer programming does require you to have a sound foundation of basic mathematics. There is a correlation between understanding math and being able to "think algorithmically".

Hi Rati,
The questions are basically from 9th- 10th maths, like - if a and b do the work in 10 days and b and c do the same work in 15 days and a and do the same work in 20 days then calculate the no. of days taken by a ,b and c to complete the same work.
Questions of upstream and downstream
speed , distance , time questions
percentage questions
Best would be to refer your NCERT text book along with RS Aggarwal / RD Sharma / Pk Garg etc.

For pursuing a course in engineering you should have Maths as compulsory subject in 10+2. With a PCM combination of subjects, you can pursue almost any field you set your mind on. Hi Kirti,
Yes, Arihant along with Aakash study material are a good set of questions. Also, you must read the newly released Pradeep's encyclopedia for JEE Mains and Advanced. It was just released last year. Although, I initially looked the book with scepticism on being recommended that book add the Publisher was only famous for school level books before this book arrived, I later found out that this book is the best written book I have every read. The theory is extremely well presented and all the questions are solved . I got a rank less than 300 primarily because of they book. You can try Arihant' s book for maths by SK Goyal.
