Admission to PhD programs typically depends on PhD entrance examinations, with prominent ones including CSIR UGC NET, UGC NET, IIT JAM, and NPAT. Your marks in these exams decide the college you will get to do your Ph.D in. For those aspiring to pursue a PhD in Engineering and Technology, a valid GATE score is often required. CSIR UGC NET, a nationwide PhD entrance exam, is administered biannually.

I find your question incomplete. You should specify the entrance exam you are talking about. Only in that case, I will be giving you specific advice in that domain. but mostly in all the entrance exams basic mathematics is asked. Also as you have mentioned that you have opted for Science please mention the stream you opted for. If biology, then mathematics will not be your core subject but mathematics is a powerful tool applicable in physics and chemistry.

No, Maths is not compulsory to get admission to BCA at Jain University. However, it's a UG-level course in the stream of IT and Computer Applications, so candidates who have studied Class 12 with Maths as one of their main subjects may apply but it's not mandatory to only study Mathematics. Candidates must have passed Class 12 in the stream of Science. The subjects may vary such as Statistics/ Computer Science/ Information practice. Aspirants can study the mentioned exam in their Class 12 apart from Mathematics.
