The difficulty of the Maths section of the ACT exam can be perceived differently by students as it is subject and is based on the personal strengths and weaknesses of students in particular sections and topics. The most difficult questions of the Maths section of the ACT test are found towards the end of the section. Hence, it can be said that the difficulty and level of questions asked on the ACT exam increase gradually as the test progresses.

To prepare well for the Maths section of the ACT exam, one must work on building strong foundation of the mathematical concepts. For that purpose, you must focus on mastering the fundamental mathematical concepts, practice with different types of mathematical problems, understand the format of the Maths section and work to improve your time management strategy effectively.

It is actually different for everyone since everyone has their own speeds. It also depends on the paper- if its lengthy or not. Read questions carefully before answering. Read the instructions carefully and you can analyze your entire question paper no matter which subject is it, and mentally set time for each sections.

It is actually different for everyone since everyone has their own speed. It also depends on the paper- if its lengthy or not. There is a Cool-off time of 15 minutes in addition to the writing time. Use the 'Cool-off time' to get familiar with questions and to plan your answers. Read questions carefully before answering. Read the instructions carefully and you can analyze your entire question paper no matter which subject is it, and mentally set time for each sections. Since there are mcqs too, you can solve them in the 15 mins cool off time and thus save you a lot of time.
