No, Mathematics subjects are not compulsory for admission to the BA in Economics (Hons.) course at Quantum Univeristy. The eligibility requirements that are necessary for a BA in Economics (Hons.) course is candidates must complete their Class 12 from any recognised board of Education from any stream and with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Additionally, the university takes admissions on the basis of candidates' achieved scores in their Class 12.

Moreover, the college offers this general BCA course and BCA courses in the specializations of BCA with Analytics, BCA Cloud Computing, BCA Cyber Security, and BCA Internet of Things. The minimum eligibility criteria for the BCom (Finance) course in VIT-AP School of Business is to have cleared and qualified the class 12 board examination from a recognised board of education, such as CBSE, ICSE, State Education Boards or equivalent boards. For the second part of the question, Mathematics is not a prerequisite for admission into BCom programme. However, knowledge of basic mathematics is desirable.

For the BBA (FIA) programme at Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, both Mathematics (Core Maths) and Applied Mathematics are considered important for CUET UG, as candidates must appear in CUET with a language from List A, Mathematics/Applied Mathematics, and Section III (General Test).
To be eligible for SSCBS's BMS and BBA programs, candidates must have studied Mathematics in their 10+2 level, along with English.
