Yes, even if you completed B.Com without maths but had maths as a subject in your 11th-12th class you can definitely go for B.Ed and can choose maths as your subject. Though necessity of mathematics depends on the specialisation you choose and the institute you are planning to go.

Some B.Ed. programs may require you to have a basic understanding of mathematics, particularly if you intend to teach at the primary or secondary level where mathematics is part of the curriculum.

A Das Gupta and Cengage are some of the best books for JEE with lots of multiple choice questions. A Das Gupta has many unsolved and solved questions whereas Cengage is known for the quality of questions included in the material. I recommend you to go with A Das Gupta first as the terminology is difficult in Cengage. But, not only to solve das gupta is enough for your JEE preparation. It consist of limited and less explored questions.Cengage is a very good book for mathematics and questions are of different variety from easy to hard.

Nevertheless, there are those integrated programs that have exit options after three years of study; this means that a student may choose to leave with a Bachelor's degree instead of completing the entire program. Some of the colleges are:

  • Indian Statistical Institute (ISI)
  • University of Delhi (DU)
  • Banaras Hindu University (BHU)
  • Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), New Delhi
