Yes, you are eligible for M.Sc. In genetics if you didn't have maths in your higher secondary education. The applicants should have a Bachelors degree under any registered University in respective subjects like Botany, Genetics, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Genetics, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Molecular Biology and Biomedical Sciences in Science stream. Moderation policy says that students can get upto 15% extra marks in some questions if they are difficult and student has tried to attempt it. It is for those who don't have hope of passing. I think you need not to worry as 80 is a good marks. And CBSE has abolished the moderation policy from year 2018.
