Maths is not compulsory to secure admission in Bachelor of economics. Eligibility for BA in Economics is mentioned below:
The minimum criterion of eligibility needed to be met for admission to the course is a 10+2 or equivalent qualification from a recognized institute/ university with a minimum aggregate score of 50. Candidates awaiting their final examinations results are also eligible to apply on provisional basis.

No, it is not compulsory.
All commerce students do not have mathematics in +2
But, they are eligible.
So, there isn't any compulsion.

Hello, Mathematics is not compulsory for doing BMS at Xavier's Kolkata. But English is a mandate plus 3 core subjects that may or may not include maths. Thanks.
