The M.Sc is designed to combine theory and practice. It teaches the advanced techniques and ideas that are being developed in application domains (such as graphics, visualisation, and computer security) and the rich and diverse theories that underpin them. These include models of computation and data, and mathematical analysis of programs and algorithms.
The course aims:
1.To provide the foundation for a professional career in the computing-based industries, including telecommunications, process control, business-, mission-, and safety-critical fields;
2.To enhance the skills of a professional who is already working in one of these industries;
3.To provide a foundation for research into the theory and practice of programming and the design of computer-based systems;
4.To present knowledge, experience, reasoning methods and design and implementation techniques that are robust and forward-looking.

B.Sc. in Genetics: What is it About?
Genetics is the field of medicine that explores concepts and processes of heredity, genetic variation, and genes in living beings. It is also known called the science of heredity.
The discipline involves sub- sections such as Microbiology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Model Organisms, Microscopy, Cytogenetics, Mendelian Genetics & Biometry, Genetic Engineering, Molecular Genetics, Cloning and Biotechnology, among others.
B.Sc. in Genetics: Who should opt?
Candidates aspiring to pursue the course would ideally be proficient in:

Eligibility for B.Sc. in Genetics
The basic criterion of eligibility needed to be met for admission to the course is a Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent qualification from a recognized educational Board, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects and a minimum aggregate score of 50%.
