For admission to its MBA program, BFIT Dehradun accepts a number of entrance tests at the state and national levels. The Common Admission Test (CAT) Management Aptitude Test (MAT), Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) and Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) are important recognised tests. These tests assist BFIT determine candidates suitability for the MBA programme by evaluating students aptitude in areas such as logical reasoning data interpretation and quantitative capabilities.

In addition to these tests BFIT also takes into account direct admission possibilities for students who fulfill the fundamental eligibility requirements (graduation with a minimum aggregate score) but may not have taken these tests An interview or other evaluation procedure may be required for admission via this method.
