To be eligible for admission to MBA/PGDM course at Akshaya Institute of Management Studies, the candidate has to score a minimum of 45% aggregate in class 12 in a relevant stream from any recognised board. Eligible students will have to appear for the TANCET exam and score valid marks to be eligible for the course.

To qualify for the MBA or PGDM programme at MMM's Institute of Management Education Research and Training, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree and have a minimum of 50 percent marks. The admission process consists of entrance tests (CET, CAT, CMAT) and additional processes to verify documents and counsel candidates. The admission process is centralized. In order to be eligible for the MBA/PGDM programme at Malla Reddy Institute of Management (MRIM), applicants must have completed a Bachelor degree from an accredited university for at least three years with a minimum of 50% overall (45% for Telangana's reserved BC, SC and ST categories). Additionally, candidates need to take the TS ICET exam and have a valid result. As long as they finish their degree before the programme begins final-year students are eligible to apply Counselling and TS ICET rank determine admission.

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree with 50% aggregate marks (45% for Tamil Nadu reserved categories) and a valid TANCET score in order to be considered for the MBA/PGDM programme at Akshaya Institute of Management Studies. In order to be admitted one must register for TANCET take the test and attend counselling. Candidates having valid CAT, MAT or CMAT results may also apply but must attend group discussions and personal interviews. Document verification counselling performance, and entrance exam rank are the criteria used for selection.

All Scholarships offered for the MBA at SRM SOM will be processed after enrollment in the first year, upon successful verification of all required documents. Any fees paid will be reimbursed or adjusted against the fees for subsequent years, as applicable.

Conditions for renewal:

  • Renewal upon application within the stipulated date every year.
  • No arrears/vbacklogs at the time of application
  • No break in studies/ detention/ disciplinary action/ malpractice.
  • Must possess the required CGPA as stipulated below:
    • For Merit Scholarship – 8 CGPA
    • Gender/Regional diversity scholarship – 7 CGPA

To get admission in the MBA/PGDM course at Malla Reddy Institute of Management (MRIM), you need a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories). You must also qualify in the TSICET entrance exam. Most seats (about 70%) are given through TSICET rank, and the rest (30%) are filled under the Management Quota. Final-year students can also apply.

No, CAT eligibility criteria and MBA eligibility criteria are same i.e. graduation. However, the minimum marks criteria may vary from institute to institute. Also, in case of stream specific MBA courses such as MBA in Pharma or MBA in Agri-Management etc., the requirement is graduation in specific subject.

The primary eligibility requirement for admission to the MBA course is that candidates must  complete their bachelor's degree with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Additionally, for the admission process, the school accepts scores from national/state-based management entrance exams and in-house entrance exams. The accepted exams are  CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ GMAT/ NMAT/ CMAT/ TANCET. Moreover, the institute-specific entrance exam is the SRM Joint Entrance Examination for Management (SRMJEEM).
