The admission criteria for an MBA is that the applicant must have earned a bachelor's degree in at least three years with a minimum grade point average of 50% (45% for Tamilnadu BC, BCM, MBC, SC, SCA, and ST categories).
Although they have to clear the college entrance exam as well to get a valid merit score, candidates accepted into degree programmes through later entry are ineligible to pursue an MBA from St. Joseph's College of Engineering.

Yes, distance education from Bharathiar University is recognised in India. It has been approved by the UGC. You not need to worry about this.

D.Y patil does not require any specific requirement like CMAT.
eligibility criteria: Graduate in any discipline, from a recognized University. Min 50% for regular and 45% for category students
