The candidates must be noted that scoring the minimum cutoff scores does not guarantee a seat in the participating institutes. After the announcement of the result, the participating institutes will announce their cutoff scores. The candidates scoring the cutoff marks will be called for the pre-admission rounds of the Institutes and follow the process. Self-study is sufficient. But, these coaching centers have mock test series, which are really helpful. Do appear for them. You need not be a classroom coaching student for this. Anyone can take these tests.

Your capacity and talent cannot be measured with percentage, because a man can do anything if his will is strong and if you will it stay strong and you can do CAT examination so whatever time it will be you can prepare fit for that all you need you just concentrate yourself in studies and make sure that whatever the syllabus is you prepare it very seriously and thoroughly and if you can do this thing you can qualify CAT examination you capacity and talent cannot be measured because it is a gift of god which can be increased or decreased by human will make sure that your willpower strong then a capacity and talent will also increase and

Some reference books are not enough, if you're studying for MAT or GMAT especially on your own that is. Firstly, if you're studying on your own, make sure that you spend at least 6 hours a day with at least 4-6 months of determined attention towards your studies. Secondly, there are a lot of YouTube tutorials on the Internet that'll help you do the right kind of preparation and keeping the schedule. Finally, coaching for these exams separately or altogether will cost you a lot, so keep that in mind and fuel that as your passion. If you can study this way, you can make a difference. So don't just go by some reference book by the market.

BVIMR accepts BMAT score, not MAT. If you've given BMAT exam, then you may get admission till 230 rank.
