As you mentioned with 70 percentile you cannot get in a top college for MBA unless you come in a reserved category even in that its pretty difficult to get in a top college. So, if you want to get in a top college work hard and prepare once again for the entrance and get a good score to get in the top college

For college like Lala Lajpat Rai the ranking required is around 1500, but if you are a minority you may get into it and if you have applied in Hindi minority you could try for Thakur with your score and minority you could get in there! There are good chances of getting in a good college with the score you have got.
With this score you can apply for decent colleges which has got avg salary of about 4-5lacs and a good placement record. Also it depends you apply in general category or in reserved, which would increase your chances to go in a better college.

Hello Abhijit Sambvekar, there would be no issues at all if you take a drop and appear for the exam next year. Solve various question papers every now and then, try finding questions that require a multi step approach to solve. CMAT is given priority at the time of admission but you can also get admission on the basis of your attempted exams.

You will have to register for admission 2017-19 process as your result will be displayed in next academic year along with MAT try to give other exams like CAT(min 85%-max99.99%) Maharashtra MBA CET(95%+) ATMA(99.9%) all this scores mentioned are to get in reputed colleges so good luck and in case of further queries feel free to ask.!
