Qualifying for the CAT exam will simply make you eligible for admission. The fee structure of IIMs will remain unchanged irrespective of your percentile. The fee for an MBA varies from college to college and could range anywhere between Rs. 13.03 Lacs and Rs. 23 Lacs. These fees include tuition fees, mess charges, accommodation, etc. For instance, the fee of some IIms is given below:

2. IIM Sirmaur total fee is approximately Rs. 13.75 Lacs

No, a 12th student can not take the CAT exam. The eligibility criteria to appear in the CAT exam is:
1. The applicant must have completed a Bachelor's degree from a recognised university.
2. To be eligible, students must have at least a 50% graduation rate. SC, ST, and PWD candidates, on the other hand, must have 45%.
3. If your university awards grades or CGPA, then the conversion factor given by the university has to be used.
4. You can also apply in your final year, but you will need a pass Certificate from the previous year to be eligible to appear for the CAT exam.
