According to the SRHU reviews provided by students on Shiksha.com, the average rating given to MBA placements is 4 out of 5. A reviewer asserted that placements are available for all domains, like finance, marketing and HR. Companies like Om Logistics, TCS, Ozone overseas and many more participate during the placements. Internship rate is very high. Students get internships as well as pre-placement offers. Another reviewer commented "More than 70 percent of students are getting placed. And the percentage is still improving. The average salary offered is INR 8 LPA which is very good."

SRHU provides 100% placements support to its MBA students. The university has a dedicated placements cell to manage the provision of employment and internship opportunities to the students. As per the official SRHU MBA brochure, the highest package offered during SRHU MBA placements is INR 10 LPA. SRHU has 90 seats for MBA. These seats are filled based on the applicant's performance in the qualifying exam, a national-level entrance test (CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/GMAT), GD and PI. The university may also follow the seat reservation policies of the state and central governments while allocating these seats. It must be noted that the mentioned number of seats has been sourced from the official website of the university/sanctioning body. It is still subject to change and hence, is indicative.

SRHU selects students for its MBA programme based on their merit in the qualifying examination and CAT/MAT/GMAT/CMAT/XAT score. Candidates with a valid exam score can register and apply for admission through the university's official website. Based on the applications received, shortlisted candidates will be called for group discussion (GD) and personal interview (PI) conducted by the university's Himalayan School of Management Studies. The final selection is based on the applicants' performance in the GD and PI.
