The admission procedure of MBA at KIIT-SOM includes shortlisting of candidate on the basis of KIITEE-Management, Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interview (PI) and Writing Ability Test (WAT). The GD-PI and WAT rounds are conducted after the entrance exam result has been released. Candidates who clear KIITEE MBA entrance test, are eligible for the GD-PI and WAT. However, the selection will be made on the basis of every candidate’s academic record and KIITEE score.

MBA is one of the popular courses of Galgotias University. When it comes to placements, the University offers decent placements annually. The course-wise placement details are yet be released for the batch 2026. However, the University has achieved 100% placements for its School of Business batch 2026. The average package secured by the overall Business Batch was INR 4.5 LPA.

To appear for KIITEE MBA exam, a candidate needs to have completed graduation or equivalent with a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate or equivalent. The minimum score qualification of 50 per cent applies to Reserved category candidates too. The graduation degree can be in any stream but must be from a recognised university.
Students who are in their final year of bachelor’s degree course are also eligible to appear in the KIITEE MBA exam. Final year students are also eligible to apply. UEM Kolkata has an internal entrance exam, namely IEMCET. This exam is conducted by IEM group for admission to various UG & PG courses at IEM and UEM. To get admission to MBA course at UEM Kolkata, candidates can appear for this exam either in online or offline mode. Those who qualify for this exam are not required to appear for any other competitive entrance exam and they can directly attend the final GDPI rounds. Find below the exam patterm for IEMCET:

Candidates who hold a UG degree of either Engineering/ Science or Management are eligible to apply for MBA admission at UEM Kolkata. Admission to this course is entirely entrance-based. Candidates must qualify for CAT/ MAT/ WB JEMAT or any other state/ national-level entrance exam. Apart from that, candidates can also apply via a valid score of IEM CET, which is conducted by UEM itself. Candidates who qualifies for IEMCET will be exempted from other entrance exams. Further, the shortlisted candidates will be evaulated in the final round process, where they have to appear for Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds.

No, candidates who have qualified CAT/ MAT/ WB JEMAT/ IEMCET need to appear for GDPI round. Candidates who have qualified CAT/ MAT/ WB JEMAT with at least 85 percentile can appear directly for GDPI round. However, candidates with score less than 85 percentile, need to first appear for the UEM Entrance Test followed by a GDPI round. A pass in graduation with at least 60% aggregate & above in Science/ Management (70% aggregate & above for Engineering) is required to apply for MBA and part-time MBA course. Also, candidates must secure at least 70% aggregate & above in Class 10 and 65% aggregate in Class 12 to apply for MBA and part-time M
