The minimum cutoff for MBBS at Sri Devraj Urs Academy of Higher Education and Research in 2023 was 298657. This cutoff is based on the NEET exam and is for the General category students. The cutoff has been showing a declining trend over the years for the General category students, with the 2022 cutoff being 228827 and the 2021 cutoff being 173242.

The seat intake for the MBBS programme at Sri Devaraj Urs Academy of Higher Education and Research is as follows:
- Total Seats: 150
- Management Quota: 127 seats
- NRI Quota: 23 seats
The admission to the MBBS programme is conducted by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. 85% of the seats are for the General (Private/Management) category, and 15% are for the NRI category. The tuition fees for the MBBS programme are INR 17.6 Lacs per annum for the Management quota and $45,200 (USD) per annum for the NRI quota.

To pursue MBBS from Trichy SRM Medical College, Students must to appear and quality the national level entrance examination - NEET UG.

While both the colleges are prioritised by students to persue MBBS from . SBMCH is definitely better due to placement records and packages, faculties in both the colleges are equally good. Admission in both the colleges are accepted through national level entrance examination - NEET UG.

MBBS is considered as the top course at SBMCH due to various reasons.
