Hi. Graduate students from nursing and dental backgrounds will get lateral entry into MBBS courses, if suggestions made in the draft National Education Policy 2019 are accepted by the government. According to recommendations made in the draft policy document, the first one or two years of MBBS course will be common for all Science graduates after which they can take up MBBS BDS nursing or other specialisations. To get MBBS Admission In India the candidate must pass the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) examination which is conducted by the NTA (National Testing Agency). Good luck for the exam.

Hi Swapnil, Yes, definitely you can do MBBS along with BHMS or B.A. MS as it's totally up to you but you just need to focus more so that you don't score bad in the ongoing degree.

If you want a career in medicine Only, then you can go for BDS B.A. MS BUMS BHMS or some other related course. If you want to opt for some other career like teaching or defense, you can go for B.Sc. In some subjects and then apply for CDS AFCAT etc. Or do B.Ed for teaching.

For getting a government medical college for MBBS you need to just have more than 50% in Class 12th. But you need to score a Very good rank in NEET which is the medical entrance exam for MBBS.
