MBBS is found to be more preferred by many medicine aspirants owing to the range of specialisations available afer MBBS and the sky high limit of earning potential, but BDS is not too far behind with respect to earning potential these days when personal oral hygeine is losing its meaning.

Switching college & university is not done so easily. But still you can contact the college where you wish to take admission & see possibility. If they have vacant seat in the second year then they will ask you to apply, else nothing can be done.
